Good morning Revere, today is Monday, May 9th, and these are your daily 



Friday night the Minutemen Track and Field Teams traveled to the Norwayne Invitational to face the competition, wind, and rain! 


The girls team had some great performances with the following athletes earning top 8 placings.  Leah Valentine placed 4th in the 200, Ally Meixner was 6th in the 400 and 8th in the 800, Norah Brownlee was 6th in the 800, Laura Wagner placed 7th in the 1600 and Allyson Schultz placed 8th.  Evelyn Tucker placed 7th in the 3200 and Kayla Beard was 8th in that same event.  Kate Fuller tied for 8th in the high jump, Maggie Zurn was 7th in disc, Nina Verner was 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles and Josie Schiesswohl was 4th.  The 4 x 800 Team of Brownlee, Fulton, Wagner, and Schultz also took 3rd place overall!


The boys team put together another great night with lots of great performances on their way to a runner-up team finish! Thomas Christman placed 4th in the 100 and 6th in the 200, Donovan Farrow placed 6th in the 100, Chase Teter placed 5th in the 200, Greg Wilson placed 2nd in the 400, Matthew Houska placed 8th in the 400, David Anand won the 800 meter run, Akshay Elango won the 1600 and placed 3rd in the 800, Anthony DeRubeis placed 2nd in the 1600, Calin Milicia Placed 2nd in the 3200, Andy Long was 3rd in the 3200, Joe Sunkin Placed 4th in the 110 meter hurdles, Lawrence Saltis placed 5th, Adam Stano placed 5th in the 300 meter hurdles, Andrew Farrow placed 2nd in the high jump, Jagraj Dhillon placed 6th in the shot put, the 4 x 100 meter relay of Lucas, Wick, Donovan Farrow, and Christman placed 3rd, the 4 x 200 team of Teter, Farrow, Lucas, and Farrow placed 2nd, and the 4 x 800 team of Long, Milicia, Liu, and Luther placed 2nd. 


Great Work guys!  The team's head to Tallmadge tonight to compete in the first day of the Suburban League Competition.  Good luck and Go Minutemen!
