Good morning Revere, today is Thursday, May 5th, and these are your daily 

Announcements.

 

Last night the Minuteman Track and Field Teams traveled south to show down against rival Copley in an exciting meet! The boys team narrowly lost to Copley, but came away with a string of great results during the meet.  1st place finishers included Joab Bockstoce in Long Jump and High Jump, Sam Bockstoce in the 800, Joe Sunkin in the 110 hurdles, Greg Wilson in the 400, Nolan Luther in the 3200, the 4 by 200 relay of Chase Teter, Chris Raimondo, Josh Lucas, and Donovan Farrow and the 4 x 400 meter relay of David Anand, Philip Liu, Chase Teter and Calin Milicia.  Other top 3 placers included Jagraj Dhillon, Colton Carmichael, Thomas Christman, Lawrence Saltis, Calin Milicia, Anthony DeRubeis, David Anand, Philip Liu, Adam Stano, and Chase Teter.  (5)

 

The Girls meet came down to the final event.  With a narrow lead in the meet heading into the 4 by 400 meter relay, the team of Kayla Kephart, Lily Fox, Megan Diulus and Emery Banks toed the line with just over 4 minutes between them and a Revere Victory.  Receiving the baton with a small lead, Sophomore anchor Emery Banks ran a personal best leg to edge out Copley and bring home a Revere win! Other team members earning 1st place finishes included Cassie Keaton, Maggie Zurn, Nina Verner, Chloe Grimm, Norah Brownlee, Morgan Dobos, Kayla Beard, and the 4 by 200 meter relay of Leah Valentine, Charlotte Keenan, Olivia Kapitan and Chloe Grimm.  Other top 3 placers for the girls were: Lauren Weil, Annnabelle Yost, Lydia Gibbons, Kayla Kephart, Josie Scheisswohl, Charlotte Keenan, Lily Fox, Leah Valentine, and Ally Meixner.  Great work Minutemen! The team travels to Norwayne this Friday for the Dwight Schar Invitational.  Be sure to wish them good luck! (5)

 

The Ohio Math League contest results are official!  Revere placed second in Ohio, missing first place by only 1 point.  Rohit Dasanoor was the only student in Ohio with a perfect score in every contest.  Drake Du and Will Krew placed 6th in Ohio.  Neal Pannala finished 15th, and Philip Liu was 21st.  Sam Bockstoce and Adi Desai were 29th and 38th in Ohio.  Tying for 42nd place were Camryn Bir, Akshay Elango, Andy Long, Shane Yankovitz, and Saumya Mahajan.  Saumya Sharma also contributed to Revere's team score.  Congratulations to Revere's class who brought home 3 first place finishes and one second place finish during their four years here.
