Good afternoon Revere today is Wednesday, October 8th and here are your daily announcements.


A great result for your men’s soccer team last night as they defeat Hoover 4-1. Scoring for the Minutemen was James Effinger, Desmond Johnston, and two from Trevor Rorabaugh. The team is climbing the state rankings again and will face Green on Saturday. (7)


Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Tennis team - Yesterday the girls had some great wins in Strongsville Sectional tournament!  The doubles team of Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo won two matches; Maddie Kavenagh won three matches in singles and advanced to the quarter finals Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder qualified for districts in doubles after defeating Our Lady of the Elms, a seeded team.  Morgan Dobos defeated opponents from Ravenna, Laurel, and Padua to advance to the district tournament in singles.   The girls will play semi-finals and finals on Saturday morning in Strongsville. Congratulations to junior Morgan Dobos who was recently selected for the Akron Beacon Journal Spotlight for her accomplishments in tennis this season.  Morgan placed first in first singles in the Suburban League tournament defeating Madison Pawlak from Highland 6-2, 6-3. Morgan was the top singles player in the American Division of the Suburban League for this season. (7)

Stark State College is hosting a virtual open house on October 8th @ 6-7pm and October 9th @ 12-1pm. (7)


The Auditorium is looking for a few new members to join the Auditorium Tech Staff. Students interested in working the plays, musicals and concerts should attend a brief meeting after school on Thursday, October 8th. You will get information concerning this opportunity.  Meet in the back of the Auditorium by the sound and light console. (7)
