Good afternoon Revere!  Today’s date is Monday,, September 28th, and here are your daily announcements.


The Girls cross country team picked up another big win this weekend by taking down Kent Roosevelt on Saturday.  Revere pulled off a clean sweep of the race with our top runners taking the first 7 places!    Leading the way were Ellie Meech, Aleni Bender, Megan Diulus, Ruth Anand, Evelyn Tucker, Laura Wagner, and Ally Meixner.  Along with the leaders, Kayla Kephart, Ella Leigh, Laila Bennett, Kayla Beard, Reagan Morrison, Sophia Moyer and Tanis Creveling all ran their best races of the season to lead to a strong Revere showing throughout the entire field!  Great job girls! (28) 


Congratulations to the varsity girl’s tennis team who placed 2nd in the Suburban league tournament on Friday at Highland High School.  Winning 1st place was Morgan Dobos in 1st singles and the team of Jenny Fan and Katie Kinder at 1st doubles; placing 2nd was Maddie Kavenagh at 2nd singles and the doubles team of Tarini Gowda and Lilly Shenigo.  Nina Lazbin placed 3rd in 3rd singles!  The girls had a fantastic day and finished the tournament just 2 points from 1st place. (28)



Class Council Officer applications were emailed to your school Gmail account last week. Please complete and submit the electronic form if you are interested in running for class president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer. The application to run for a class office is due tomorrow. (28)



Academic Challenge will hold tryouts for JV and Varsity today, September 28th in room C110 at 2:45 pm.  If you cannot attend, please, contact Mr. Fry or Mr. Kos, so we can set up a tryout with you. (18, 23, 25, 28).



The 2020 Yearbook will be delivered at the end of September!  If you didn't order a book last year, you can still purchase a book for $65.  Checks only please.
