Good afternoon Revere! Today is Monday, September 21st and here are your daily announcements.
On Saturday, The RHS Girl’s Cross-Country Team took down Rival Copley to pick up their 3rd Suburban League victory of the season. The team dominated the race taking 5 of the top 6 places! Ellie Meech, Aleni Bender and Megan Diulus led the way, taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with 3 of the top times in school history! Ruth Anand took 5th and Evelyn Tucker placed 6th to round out the team's scorers. Finally, Ally Meixner and Laura Wagner ran great races to complete the top 7 for Revere. Great Job Girls! This Saturday, the team will travel to Kent Roosevelt to take on the Rough Riders. Be sure to wish them good luck!
The Revere boy’s cross-country team was victorious over Copley on Saturday. Revere won the varsity meet by a score of 20 - 44, taking 8 of the top 10 places. Leading the way for the varsity team were Anthony Skitzki (17:42 for the 5k course), Naveen Elliott, David Anand, Akshay Elango, and Sam Bockstoce. Revere also defeated Copley in the JV race. (21)
