Two New Administrators Join Revere

The 2021-22 school year will bring two new faces to the Revere Local Administrative Team.

Micki Krantz was recently hired as Assistant Superintendent. Ms. Krantz comes to Revere from the Shaker Heights City School District, where she currently serves as Director of Secondary Education. Prior to this role, she was Canton City Schools for 13 years in a variety of positions, including Director of Instruction, Principal, and Literacy Coach.

The Assistant Superintendent position is combining the positions of Director of Curriculum/Instruction and Director of Human Resources, both being vacated by upcoming retirees Mrs. Kathy Nolan and Ms. Judy Myers. Ms. Krantz officially starts with the district on August 1st.

Beginning this fall, Revere High School will be led by Andrew Peltz, who comes to the district from Avon Lake City Schools. Mr. Peltz currently is the Principal of Troy Intermediate School.

Mr. Peltz is no stranger to Revere, as he served as the Assistant Principal at Revere Middle School in 2012-13 before getting the head principal job in Avon Lake. Mr. Peltz also has more than a decade of experience as a high school science teacher at North Royalton High School and St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School. He is currently working on obtaining his Doctoral Degree from Cleveland State University.

“I am pleased the district has been able to add two extremely qualified administrators to its team,” said Dr. Matthew Montgomery, Superintendent at Revere Local. “Both will complete the remainder of the school year at their respective districts, but are eager to get started at Revere.”
