Revere Middle School Named Partners in Education School of the Year
CLEVELAND, OH – The Ohio Lottery is proud to recognize Revere Middle School in Akron as the 2022-2023 Partners in Education School of the Year.
Revere Middle School was selected as the School of the Year in a random drawing comprised of 328 K-12 Ohio schools who participated in the Lottery’s Partners in Education program during the 2022-2023 school year. Teacher Allison McIntyre was nominated for Teacher of the Month last year which made the school eligible for the School of the Year drawing.
Revere Middle School received a School of the Year trophy, a $1,000 gift card to Office Max and autographed team merchandise from major and minor league sports teams across Ohio to be used for fundraising efforts. All the school’s 668 students received a Partners in Education draw string bag.
The Partners in Education program, which recognizes Ohio students, teachers and K-12 schools for outstanding performance and achievement, is now new and improved. The Partners in Education Program will select three Academic All-Stars and three Teachers of the Month each month from September to May from nominations accepted statewide. Teachers of the Month will receive a $500 gift card and Academic All-Stars will receive a $100 gift card. Parents, educators, and administrators can submit nominations by the 10th of each month through an online submission form on the Ohio Lottery website. The first drawing will take place in October.
The Partners in Education School of the Year will be a separate nomination process. Anyone can submit nominations for the School of the Year by March 10.
