At its regular February 17 Board meeting, the Revere Local Schools Board of Education approved several administrative updates and leadership transitions that support the district’s continued commitment to student success, operational excellence, and long-term planning.

The Board approved the creation of a new administrative position, Director of School Performance. This role is designed to support principals and teachers, strengthen instructional programs, and help ensure consistency and excellence across the district. The Director of School Performance will focus on things like:

  • Supporting schools with instructional practices, data, and professional learning

  • Coordinating state testing, accountability, and required reporting

  • Assisting with RTI, Response to Intervention, and MTSS, Multi-Tiered System of Supports, student supports, and compliance needs

  • Helping lead college, career, workforce, and military readiness initiatives

  • Serving as an additional resource for principals and staff

The goal of this position is to streamline systems, reduce building-level burdens where possible, and provide clearer support so our schools can stay focused on student success.

Following approval of the new position, Dr. Dan Oberhauser was appointed as Revere Local Schools’ first Director of School Performance, effective August 1, 2026. Dr. Oberhauser will transition from his current role as Principal of Revere Middle School, where he has demonstrated strong instructional leadership and a deep commitment to student achievement.

As part of this transition, the Board also approved Mr. Bryan Petsche as the new Principal of Revere Middle School, effective August 1, 2026. Mr. Petsche currently serves as Assistant Principal and brings valuable experience and continuity to the position.

The Board of Education further approved three-year administrative contract renewals for the following leaders, effective August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2029:

  • Kirk Pavelich, Principal, Richfield Elementary School

  • Angela Smith, Assistant Principal, Richfield Elementary School

In addition, as part of an organizational update, the Board approved revisions to the current Director of Operations position which is held by Mrs. Nikki Campbell, including a title change to Director of Personnel and Operations, effective August 1, 2026. This updated title more accurately reflects the role’s expanded responsibilities supporting both district operations and personnel services.

Revere Local Schools remains dedicated to providing high-quality educational experiences and strong leadership across all schools to ensure that every student thrives.
