Congratulations, National Merit Semifinalists!
Revere High School is proud to share that TEN members of the senior class have qualified as semifinalists in the 2025 National Merit® Scholarship Program. Seniors Anthony DeRubeis, Charlie Messner, Saumya Mahajan, Neharikaa Yadavalli, Camryn Bir, Saumya Sharma, Edward Liu, Samuel Albert, Anish Chandran and Sarah Fondran are among the top 1% nationally to earn this prestigious recognition.
Over 1.3 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. A semifinalist must maintain an excellent academic record throughout high school, be endorsed and recommended by a school official, write an essay, and earn SAT® or ACT® scores that confirm the student’s earlier performance on the qualifying test.
To advance as a finalist, students must submit a comprehensive scholarship application that includes their academic achievements, involvement in school and community activities, demonstration of leadership skills, employment history, and honors or awards received. The winners of the 2025 National Merit Scholarship will be announced in four national news releases starting in April and ending in July.
Congratulations to these exceptionally talented students!
