The Revere Minutemen Academy is an online-only option for students. At the K-5 level, instruction is provided and managed by Revere teachers using Revere curriculum. At the 6-12 level, the Academy uses the Edgenuity curriculum, which is built on the same academic content standards as the face to face Revere courses. Students enrolling in the Minutemen Academy make a semsester-long commitment to the online platform, but can choose to move back to face-to-face instruction at the beginning of the second semester in January.
On August 10, 2020, Superintendent Matt Montgomery was joined by Director of Curriculum and Instruction Kathy Nolan and High School Counselor Nick Depompei to provide an overview of the Minutemen Academy. Families can opt-in to the Minutemen Academy to have a fully remote learning option for a semester or the whole year.
Families who would like to opt-in to the Minutemen Academy for the Fall, 2020 semester can do so using this form until August 14, 2020. After that point, please contact your child's school counselor or principal to enroll in the Minutemen Academy.
