Revere Local Schools would like to remind parents and students of its snow/calamity day delay and cancellation policy.
If the Superintendent makes the decision to call a delay, students will be transported to school two hours later than normal. Afternoon dismissal times will remain the same. A delay is meant to keep students safe while roadways are being cleared, while still allowing them to attend school for the majority of the day. Note: *There would be no morning kindergarten on days when a delay is called.
A school day cancellation will be called if road conditions are not expected to improve and/or if the weather forecast predicts continued hazardous conditions. Revere Local will make every effort to notify families as early as possible.
Parents, students and staff will be notified of both delays or cancellations in the same manner, which includes automated phone calls, the media, our Facebook page (Revere Local Schools) , Revere Twitter (@RevereLocal) and Superintendent Matt Montgomery on Twitter (@SuptMontgomery).
