Superintendent's Message

  • The New Year brings exciting times to Revere Local Schools.  This is the year our new Bath Elementary will open!  Progress on the building has been swift, as the walls and roof went up before the holidays. Our students, in grades three through five, will move in for the start of the 2019-20 school year.  The community will be invited to take a final tour of the current building prior to its demolition.

At the site of the new Revere High School, construction crews have been preparing the ground for the foundation. We received good news in December, when bids for the project came in at an estimated two-million dollars under budget. A total of 67 bids were received for the project. We are thrilled to move this project along, and open the new RHS for the 2020-21 school year.

In all, the district’s $79.4 million ongoing construction projects include the new Bath Elementary, new Revere High School, new bus garage, and renovations to both Revere Middle School and Richfield Elementary. There is no shortage of activity throughout the district!

I continue to be grateful for the community’s ongoing support as we navigate through this challenging construction phase and build the new Revere.

    Matthew L. Montgomery

    Superintendent
