As the Director or Curriculum and Instruction, I work collaboratively with teachers and building leaders to develop programming that uses data to drive instruction and help Every Student Thrive! Along with reviewing programming and all annual data, I visit classrooms and join in professional learning communities, grade level, and department meetings to continually work on our alignment with state requirements, our implementation of evidence-based instructional practices, and our authentic learning experiences for students. 

The district focus is using intentional instructional strategies to help Every Student Thrive! Please check out the Every Student Thrives video filmed during the 25 -26 school year. "Every Student Thrives" is a district-wide commitment to fostering growth for every child through a tailored educational experience. By balancing rigorous assessments and data-informed instruction with a deep focus on the needs and passions of each learner, teachers ensure that all students grow. From the exploration of kindergarten to the collaborative stages of visual and performing arts, this video highlights how safe, supportive environments foster students to persevere through mistakes. By leveraging clear learning intentions and diverse pathways—including vocational skills and competitive athletics—the district empowers students to engage with purpose and reach their full potential.
