Anti-Harassment

The Revere Local School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the educational programs or activities of the District. The Board has designated the Director of Human Resources as the Title IX Coordinator for the District.

The Title IX Coordinator’s duties include coordinating the District’s effort to comply with and carry out it's responsibilities under Title IX and investigating any complaint communicated to the District alleging noncompliance with Title IX. Complaints involving alleged discrimination on the basis of sex in any program or activity shall be handled in accordance with Board Policy 9.07: Title IX Grievance Procedure - Employee and Student in Revere's Board Policy.

Additionally, under Ohio law, all school districts must maintain an Anti-Harassment / Intimidation / Bullying policy. In addition to the adoption and implementation of this policy, the district is required to provide semi-annual summary reports of verified acts of harassment, intimidation, and bullying.  

Revere's practice is governed by Policy 9.35: Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying in Revere's Board Policy. Other relevant policies include 9.08: Harassment and Violence, 9.09: Complaints of Sexual Harassment, and 9:11-12: Racial, Ethnic, National Origin Harassment Discrimination Policy.
