Max Horak: 4th Grade in Mrs. Fling’s Class
Max Horak is a hard-working, conscientious student. He always strives to do his best every day in class. He is kind and considerate to everyone. Congratulations Max--you are deserving of this honor!
Vincent Willits: 5th Grade in Mrs. Keaton’s Class
Vincent Willits is an all-around awesome fifth grader! He puts forth excellent effort into everything he does. Not only is Vincent clever and witty, he is kind and helpful to everyone. Vincent is a very conscientious student, participates well in class, works wonderfully in groups, and is a fabulous leader. Expect big things from Vincent!
FUTURE MATH OLYMPIANS
In November, Ms. Coen’s Gr. 4 Advanced Math Class and Future Math Olympians competed in the Fall Noetic Learning Math Contest.
The Noetic Learning Math Contest is a national mathematics contest for elementary and middle school students. The goal of the competition is to encourage students' interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.
The Top Scorers are: First Place Winners with 95% - Laura Fondran and Anna Tompkins, Second Place with 85% - Caden Jones, Sophia Liao, and Amogh Lokesh, Third Place with 80% - Ethan Douglas, And in 4th Place with 75% - Deven Gupta and Ayushman Mukherjee
The Top 6 combined scores created a team score of 525 out of a possible 600 points. This score put our class in the Top Ten Percent of competing schools and earned a plaque. During an award ceremony, the winners and top finalists will receive their medals and all participants will receive award certificates. Congratulations to everyone on the team for your hard work and math enthusiasm!

The team total is now 126 out of a possible 150 points. The following Top Ten list of competitors earned our team total:
A standing ovation to: Ben Boots, Rohan Dasanoor, Nicky Ghiorgie, Hank Gretter, Tessa Milicia, Will Sibbald, and Vincent Willits who are in a competitive 7-way tie for 1st Place.
A huge round of applause for 2nd Place finishers: Gabi Iler and Kyle Molter.
Tied for the final place in the Top Ten are: Jessica Brubaker, Ashley Gardner, and Jackson Holmes.
