PROJECT UPDTE: 5/21/19
Bath Elementary is moving along, with roughly three months of construction left until we open its doors. Over the past few months, crews put the brick and roof on the building and began working diligently on the interior. The district had two tour dates for community members to tour the current Bath Elementary before it is demolished over the summer. Hundreds of people came to the tours to take pictures and relive memories of their time going to school there. A tentative Grand Opening is scheduled for August 29, 2019. The new Bath Elementary opens to students September 3, 2019.
Meanwhile, the new Revere High School is moving full speed ahead now that the weather has cleared. Steel starting arriving in April and the structure has begun to take shape. The building, as previously noted, will tie into the existing 1995 wing of the current high school. The new high school will open to students for the 2020-21 school year.
This summer, renovations will continue at Richfield Elementary as the building begins the central air conditioning installation process. Although the district had hoped to install AC, it did not commit to it as part of the $68.2 million bond issue for construction and renovations, which passed in 2016. Due to diligent budgeting and our bid process, the district is able to proceed with central air in both Richfield Elementary and Revere Middle School. The installation of AC at RMS will start in the spring of 2020.

The Revere High School groundbreaking took place on September 21, 2018, and since then crews have been working diligently to get the property ready for building. The district is currently assessing bids for the project, with the goal of starting the foundation at the end of January. Meanwhile, at the new Bath Elementary site, construction crews have made significant progress on the new building. The walls are up, the roof is on, and advancements are being made every day. The building will be open for the 2019-20 school year.
