Office of the Superintendent

Forward 2030 by Brenda Moll
  • Superintendent’s Message:

    Happy Holidays!

It is hard to believe the holidays are already upon us.  Of course, in other ways, it seems 2020 wore out its welcome many months ago. Despite all the challenges, we have had many successes to celebrate this past year at Revere.  In September, we opened the brand new Revere High School.  After years of planning and construction, it was wonderful to finally open the doors to its first classes of students.  From the mobile of artwork in the atrium to the vast auditorium and gyms, the new roughly 200,000-square-foot building is one of the bright spots of this year.  We still plan to offer community tours when it is safe to do so.  We truly cannot wait for everyone to see the building in its entirety.

Since the start of this school year, a group of approximately 70 staff members, students and community members have met to develop our Vision of a Minuteman.   Facilitated by Battelle for Kids, the group has been exploring competencies that best reflect our community’s vision for our students and graduates.  Once completed, this Vision will serve as our North Star as begin the district’s new Strategic Planning process.  We are on track to complete the Strategic Plan, which will set the district’s goals, by the end of the school year.

I continue to be grateful to live and work in a community that puts education first.  I wish you all health and happiness as we head into 2021.

As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at or at 330-523-3104.
